    Real Madrid settle Arbeloa fee with Liverpool

    Real Madrid have met Liverpool's asking price for fullback Alvaro Arbeloa, it has been revealed.

    The Daily Mail says an £8 million deal for Spain defender Arbeloa to go to Madrid is already in place.

    Arbeloa has made it no secret he is keen to return to Real for next season.

    He's been offered a new contract so its not a guarantee that he's definitely going. Personally I believe he will go because johnson is first choice right back and with the world cup next summer arbeloa won't want to sit on the bench but I'd much prefer he signed his new contract than sell him for £5 million.
