Just on SSN there that he is honoured been linked with Real and he will know more about a possible transfer Monday.

If we get €8-9m itll be good business. Wasnt he with them already and didn work out? and havent they got Ramos there unless they move him into the centre but jesus remember was it Middlesborough a few seasons back in the centre he was shocking

Id rather keep him to be honest.
Last season we ran into the problem of having only one right back, and if we sell him we are in the same boat again.

For 8-9 Million id very much let him go but you do have a good point about back-up. I'd like to see Steven Darby get in there

in stark contrast to what he said today if any of yiz have the programme from the madrid game in march , read what he has to say about the club, he basically sez that its a waste of time playing for them if your spanish and that when he was comming up through the youth ranks he saw all this quailty around him just discarded because of the need for galacticos

Agree with you totally there mate...8-10 mill is excellent business...think we should sting them for as much as we can get...

also it gives the young lad darby a chance too...

and we dont want any one who is not honoured to be at us too, to be playing for us next season...

What if we offered arbeloa + cash for robben or snedjer, if they're willing to give €9 million for arbeloa then surely it wouldn't cost more than €6 million and arbeloa for a great wide player.

As much as I'd love Robben as I believe hes 2nd only 2 Messi as the best wide player in the world,Rafa does'nt want either as he wants Silva thats his main target, so he wants cash, sells Arbeloa and Dossena and there'll will be enough left over from his budget for Silva.

i would let him go unless he signs a new contract. If we get 8 million, then we could throw a few for robben, or vd vart,or drenthe what ye reckon about him, dont think he gets his game does he

You've answered your own question if hes not good enough to get in the team of somebody we beat 4-0 why would we want him,Drenthe is possibly the worst player ever to play for Real Madrid, why on earth would we want him,he asked Ramos not to play him as the fans were on his back, VDV is average, Robben Rafa does'nt fancy, Rafa wants the cash as he wants Silva.

Would I be correct in saying Silva is now 3rd choice LW in the Spain team after Riera and Mata?Have to say Id prefer mata myself as he'd be cheaper, younger, pacier and more suited to the english game imo but Silva offers more versatility and the eye for a clever pass.

Rafa sees Silva as a game breaker and versatile as you say, Riera been a winger, he'll keep both.

Personally i think Silva is small for the premeirship but im open to correction.

he is very versatile though.I would definitely prefer robben

Yeah,Silva would be a very useful addition against the teams that come and park the bus as he strikes me as a player with good vision and someone who can spot the clever ball and unlock tight defences. He'd also be a good replacement in the gerrard role when stevies out. Will support him 100% if he comes just not totally convinced about his physique, injury history or mentality.Could be totally wrong, not for the first time though:D
