Heard they were excellent in the point/O2 earlier in the year. I'm lucky to be home (visa renewal for US) and can't wait to go. Wondering is there much interest in these rock legends on the site
Had 2 tickets but flogged them off,i'll be gutted come Sunday but cant handle more drink, systems in bits. Will be a belting night nothing surer and with decent forecast an added bonus.
I will be there... really looking forward to it. .. I am really into the new album as well but you reallly can't beat the old classics.
Wish I was going .... Although to be fair, I'm going somewhere else which is pretty cool too, so I won't complain Hope it's a great gig, seriously brings me back in time ...............
The Blizzards supporting Oasis and now AC/DC...fair play to them. Don't think they'd be in alot of AC/DC's crowds taste.
Was at the gig in the o2 in April and it is probably up there with the best gigs ive ever been at. Top class rock n roll from the minute they walked on stage. For anyone going thats interested in guitar i recommend just looking at Angus, pure genius. Never did i think that a 54 year old man in a schoolboy outfit jumping around stage could get me so excited!! Cant go on Sunday but hope anyone that is going enjoys
il be there and can.t wait for it,i seen them in the point back in 91 and they were great....i,m a bit older now with less hair but who cares,my father n law is on the bus with us and he,s 63!your never to old,ha ha....
My mam and stepfather going, shes in her late 50's, stepfather mad into Metallica and stuff but loves ac/dc also
I was in the Point in 91 as well, what a gig!! I nearly got killed in the mosh pit trying to grab the dollar bills for money talks Looking forward to sunday now...
how did everyone get on at this? We got off the bus about 4/5 miles from the course and started walking, didnt stop until we seen a tesco on a corner, it was like water in a desert i can tell ya, got the 2nd last box of budweiser. we kept walking but it started to bloody rain so hopped on a bus that took us the last 10 mins. The heinekn was muck the weather was awful, but ac/dc were fantastic, has to be in my top 3 concerts, it was like they never aged. when thunderstruck came on i thought i would go nuts, lol. gettin out was a nightmare. we had to q in the dublin bus lane, we were penned in by barriers while every bus that came along to relieve the pressure was full with people who had jumped the q. i tell ya it was scary , squashed together like that and it went on for over 90 mins until people got pissed off and dismantled the barriers. my mother had a panic attack and the security gaurd couldnt understand us as he was a foreign guy, we had to shout for a garda to get her out. we then spent another 2 hrs at a standstill in the carpark. was a bloody nightmare. was after 3 am when we got bk to o connell steet, i was never so glad to see the hotel. friends of mine who had travelled up from galway were home by 4am, wtf?? i dont know who the organisers were but it was the worst organised concert i have been to and i have been to others in punchestown. I know most of it is part of going to a concert but been crammed in like that for that length of time was scary sh1t i can tell ya
