Hey Everyone
As you may or may not have heard, I am planning to cycle across Cuba next March with some friends. I know what your thinking - Why??
We are doing this cycle to raise much needed funds for Arc Cancer Support (http://arccancersupport.ie/). Our aim is to raise in excess of €14,000 and we need your help!
Over the coming months, we will be organising fundraising events which we will be in touch about but if anyone would like to sponsor, you can do so online.
Any contribution is greatly appreciated no matter how big or how small, just go to http://www.charitycycle.com and you can either make a donation or pledge to make a donation.
ARC Cancer Support Centre is a voluntary organisation and registered charity located at 65 Eccles Street, Dublin. The first of its kind, the aim of ARC House is to provide a professional support service to adults affected by all types of cancer, no matter where they are being treated in Ireland. An holistic approach to support is used as a complementary adjunct to primary medical treatment.

For the past ten years, ARC House has been supporting people affected by cancer from every county in Ireland. In 2005 over 1,200 people availed of our services and consequently visits to ARC House exceeded 7, 200. All the services in ARC Cancer Support Centre are absolutely free of charge but donations are always gratefully accepted. The umbrella of support incorporates research based safe support to those who avail of our services. Although not a medical centre, we have referrals from all hospital staff including nurses, doctors and other health care professionals. ARC services include counseling by oncology nurses and psychotherapists, informational and educational cancer related courses and selected research-based complementary therapies.
If you want any more details, want to give sponsorship money to me personally or if you want to give me some fundraising tips or ideas - Please get in touch.
