    The Stig from Top Gear is Michael Schumacher !!! any of ye see this last night on tv??
    I was a bit shocked myself never expected him.

    wasnt it only for last nights show as no way were ferrari going to let just anybody drive the Ferrari FXX,a car he helped develop?Very cool to see him game for a laugh though.

    Its Ben Collins is the present Stig isnt it.Always part of the top gear team when they travel and test cars and also its rumored the stig is many different people.

    The first stig was a former driver Perry McCarthy

    Heard that they change the Stig from time to time. Was suupposed to be Damon Hill a while back. We will never know for sure!!!!!

    Ok for all those who think it was Schumacher(sp), you are mistaken, It was said at end of episode it was a stunt, and Schumacher was credited as a special guest at the end with the Stig still credited as a host.

    Now, for who it is......

    i was watching the video a few posts ago on youtube while in the hotel and the woman beside me says, "Schumacher as the Stig, what a stunt", so i turned and said oh you're a top gear fan are you?? (Woman was in her 30s maybe early 40s) and she said, no that her brother was a big fan, then proceeded to ask did i know who it was when black, to which i replied, Yeah Perry McCarthy, and she said what about who it is now? To which i replied, im not sure it could be Ben Collins because he's the odds on favourite to be it.

    Long Story Short: Her brother is the Setanta Sports Motorsport Commentator, who's good friends with Perry McCarthy (Pell is his nickname) and then she told me it was the one that they keep quiet about most of the possible drivers.........

    Now there is a few drivers that test specific cars, ie. Schumacher driving the Ferrari, but from her knowledge and connections i can say to you that it is a very close friend of Perry McCarthy, none other than...............................
