Cheapest way is to wait for peter or smhark to have a bad round and they will be looking to but new ones again, you can pick up the ones they are binning !
I got a great set of brand new Cleveland's off e-bay last year for €300.The same set in McGuirks were €600. They came from a crowd called IREGOLF. I think they were based in Cork cos i had them within a couple of days.
www.maxdiscountgolf.com This is where i bought my 2009 Burner Irons $499.00 my Burner fairway woods #3 & #5 Also bought my R9 Taylor made $507.00 Not bad considering they are few 100 more over here
Peter have you bought from golgwholesale18 before?? I was looking at the Callaway x20's and they are saying free shipping is that on anything/anyprice?
Thats a great site Mark.I've been sitting here salivating all morning looking at the prices of some of the gear they have.My credit card won't know what hit it.
with the US sites, are ye paying VAT on that from the customs checks or are ye getting them at the cheap price advertised plus postage only ?
Con, they send them as a sample or gift that gets them by having to charge vat or import duty. Well that's what I was told when buying mine! They are very cheap on most sites, but when they arrive they most come from china. My set are the Dogs Boll** and were alot cheaper than buying here
Just coming back on this, I got a set of McGregor V-Foils haven't used them yet but they look good ha ha
was thinking of selling mine, callaways x 20s, big berta, 3-5 woods, oddyssey putter and callaway bag, in great con 550 to 600 if anyone is looking give me a post, im going to get a set of taylor made, was playing with my mates and there seem t work better for me, I only lost 4 balls
Stick them up on Adverts.ie Kev, plenty of golf stuff buying and selling on there in the sports section
There is a golf shop at the Spawell driving range in Templeogue. The guy will tape up a few clubs for you and let you hit them on the range. Getting to hit a few balls with a club is important before you buy. He has a great selection of new and used gear.
A friend of my mine said he was told in future to put it down as a birthday gift if he wanted to avoid those costs. That was by the guy who delivered the stuff to him.
I'd know the real things when I see them, thats why I 'd only buy from a recommended seller on e-bay, and if you buy something thats not the real thing you have comeback where as with some of these other sites I'd say you would be left with stuff. There is a lot of knocks off going around alright but you can usually spot them if you know where to look.
Anyone bought clubs in the states before? Heading over in June, want to get a set and have them shipped over. Anyone know the pros and cons? Thanks in advance, Bob
