    alright lads theres a game being planned between the liverpool legends and drogheda united at some stage in august,im not sure of the date yet.ronnie whelans nephew gavin plays for drogs so as far as i know hes getting uncle ron to get a few people over.Players confirmed so far include Bruce Grobelaar, John Aldridge, Ronnie Whelan, Steve Mc Manaman, Jason Mc Ateer, Alan Kennedy and more to be announced.

    ill update this when i hear a date and other details

    I wouldnt count on Bruce turning up, Celebrity Big Brother might be on.

    Ill try and make it to the game though.

    theres also a rumour that for a fee you can line out for the drogs for the day or indeed manage them,thats only internet talk at the minute though

    just to update ye all this game is on august 8th at three pm heres the piece direct from drogheda united




    cracking little weekend that opportuinty there for the golfers among us to play a game alongside some great liverpool players and a chance even to say you sponsored rushie!!!

    drogheda united!!!!!! clubs in a bad way after examinership and gates and revenue are down big time so its a way of boosting the coffers
