Would be a good signing maybe a brilliant signing, last year he was been touted as most promising young defender in England, what has changed? Would prefer him at right back over Arbeloa anyway

I highly doubt that city will let him go for £5 million especially if johnson is supposedly worth £20 million. Would definitely snap him up if he is going for 5.

Richards was crap last season, very poor and showed poor attitude off the pitch as well. He's the black David Bentley, all bling bling. If the rumours of his off field antics are true then £5m would sound about right. Wouldn't fancy this signing at all, another over hyped English player who is currently not Liverpool standard

I'd definitly take Richards for that price, his form has suffered since the Arab takeover, he's not being treated as the next best thing anymore because City can now afford to go out and buy who they want instead of grooming there young talent for bigger clubs and making them a few quid in the process. IMO i think a couple of seasons under Carra would make him an excellent addition to the Reds.
He bulked up to quickly with the heavy weights. Needs to lose about a quarter of it, will effect him in long run if he doesnt. Should have done what lucas did, slow and steady.
Richards is Titus Bramble mark 2, and theres no way City would sell to us, ffs there after everybody we want as they think they can target us so even if we offered more money than say Burnley he'd be sold to Burnley, manc cnuts.

He is a twat and is vastly over rated because he is english.How many times have we seen a young english player burst onto the scene,proclaimed as the next big thing in the media after an impressive debut campaign before regressing at an alarming rate-Richard Wright,Scott Carson,Francis Jeffers,Giles Barnes,Darius Vassell to name a few.Looks like Wheater and Richards are heading in the same direction.Any player who uploadshimself onto youtube doing the fcuking Souljaboy dance and features in a sex tape is not a Liverpool player imo!
